Shrek has always had an easy life: a private swamp, free mud, and no one to bother him. Until evil ruler Lord Farquaad disrupts his quiet by dumping all the fairy tale creatures on his property, this series of events catapults Shrek and his new friend, Donkey, on a wild ride across the kingdom of Far Far Away in search of a recluse princess.

Telling the story of Shrek, the 2001 animated fantasy comedy film, the Colour My World 2026 production combines all the essential disciplines of a musical: singing, dancing & acting! Swamped! A Musical is a light-hearted romp that highlights the importance of embracing one’s true self and loving others for who they are, not just how they appear.
